What are we celebrating?
The Filipino Chamber of Commerce for the Pacific Northwest is poised to grow and strategically positioned to positively impact the businesses and communities we serve. We are increasing our membership to create a stronger voice for Filipino-Americans. As servant-leaders, we will deliver valuable services and resources to our members. We will develop and facilitate connections for Filipino-Americans to engage in business opportunities, both here and in the Philippines. We will effectively collaborate amongst mainstream society’s institutions, elected officials and the broader business community by being a constructive partner in building a better America thereby earning the respect of our peers and the business communities.

Every great organization has a unifying mission. We seek everyone’s ideas on what the Filipino Chamber of Commerce’s mission should be. From our personal perspective, we envision a Chamber that empowers economic and personal development for the Filipino-American community. Our chamber should foster the creation of prosperity in our community. This is wealth, not just as measured in monetary gains, but in cultivating our young people to be leaders in society. Our chamber will help to create prosperity, not just by helping Filipino-Americans start businesses, but by providing to access capital and tools to grow our businesses that can make on impact in our global economy.

We invite you to join us in our celebration, break bread together and share in the excitement of what’s to come for 2008!
