- To facilitate greater interaction between Philippine and Washington State business, governmental, educational, and philanthropic and community development organizations
- To learn about the people and culture of the Philippines
- To experience daily life of the Filipino people first hand

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This 11-day visit starts with a stay in Cebu City participating in the 6th Annual Filipino Global Convention. While at the convention one-on-one and small meetings will be held with potential partners in business or cross-cultural exchange projects. At the conclusion of the Networking Convention participants will travel to Manila. Meetings with government offices, international trade associations and non-governmental organizations will set the stage for meeting participants’ counterparts in individual and group settings. Participants will visit cultural and historical which will allow them to learn, understand and appreciate the people and its culture.
