Purpose
The primary purpose of this mission is to facilitate greater interaction between Philippine and Washington State business, governmental, educational, and philanthropic and community development organizations.
Background
The Filipino Chamber of Commerce (FCCPNW) recognizes the importance of cross-cultural and bi-lateral activities at many levels and in many topical areas to increase trade between the Pacific Northwest and the Philippines. Given the nearly 100,000 Washington residents of Filipino heritage and the Philippines’ 93 million English-speaking residents, the opportunities to improve and expand each country’s programs are immense. The FCCPNW is working with other local and national organizations here and in the Philippines to make the 2009 Mission to the Philippines productive, informative and enjoyable for everyone.
Among the activities that participants will enjoy and benefit from is the 6th Annual Filipino Global Networking Conference in Cebu City This event provides a unique opportunity to meet and interact with Philippine leader, managers and representatives from different countries. The trip represents a matrix of opportunities that only comes once in a decade.
